Through
our international community of volunteers, the Auris Project advocates for poor
and otherwise marginalized communities by helping them access key rights and
development information.
We
are a growing community of volunteers from across the world that communicates
chiefly online and though our international volunteer program.
The
Auris Project is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is governed by a board of
directors and led by an international journalist.
Our
volunteers work on a number of exciting social projects throughout the year or
may choose to work in rural Mexico in the summer months.
The
right information can change the world.
Many
communities struggle daily in poverty, often without the information they need
to use available resources.
The
Auris Project helps targeted communities access key information, build tools
that make best use of the information, and gain the experience needed to affect
lasting change.
Auris combines
information access with community activity, providing an environment that
fosters leadership, creativity and voice, not only for our communities but for
our volunteers as well.
