The Auris Project respects your privacy. 

The Auris Project, Inc.  (“Auris” or “we” or “us”), understands your concerns about privacy and your interest in knowing how your information is used and safeguarded when you make a donation to us. We’ve created this Donor Privacy Policy (the “Donor Policy”) in order to provide our donors with more information about our practices and procedures regarding the information we collect when accepting a donation. This Donor Policy applies to all information collected during donations, whether they occur online or offline. 

The information we collect from donors.

First, we only collect information from donors that is voluntarily provided to us. For example, if you make a donation by “clicking” the “donate” button on our website, we will collect necessary personally identifiable information, which may include your name, email address, and postal address. We process your donations through a secure third-party payment processor using the highest standards in encryption technology. The payment information you provide will only be used to process your donation.  If you opt to make a recurring donation, then required payment information will be stored to facilitate future donations. Contact information such as name, address, telephone, and email address may be used to share updates, project announcements, and general communications directly with the donor.  Otherwise, your payment information will not be stored or used for any other purpose.

We will never share or sell your information

We will not sell, share, or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

Our tax-exempt status

Auris Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Federal ID #45-4510670). Donations to Auris Project, Auris Press or the Lamp are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
